ABOUT THE ARTIST
Lizzy was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. From an early age, she displayed a strong creative flair for art and self expression, along with a very enthusiastic curiosity for her mother's and aunt's makeup bags. This continued on through her Catholic school rebellion where makeup was forbidden, which often found her in detention. Upon completion of studies in business marketing at Arizona State University, Lizzy turned to corporate America and began a career in administration and finance. During which she passed the days fine tuning her day dreaming skills and making a phone call or a two while maintaining a small clientele on the side for makeup. Breaking away from mortgages and finance for good in December 2009, Lizzy moved into what she'd consider her true calling. Taking with her a wealth of knowledge in marketing skills and an education in how work ethic is not a joke, she dove head first into building a portfolio with help and encouragement from her favorite local photographers Joel Contreras and Michael Franco. The world of makeup was a simple transition, based upon her strong understanding of light, color, and design. Combined with a strong attention to detail and business background, Lizzy's flawless results and hustle mentality got her noticed.Since December 2009, Lizzy has been published in Maxim Magazine's Home Town Hotties 2010, So Scottsdale Magazine, Scottsdale Convention & Visitor's Bureau's 2011 guide (cover), Ads for Deegie's Carma and many more to come! Lizzy is currently based in Phoenix but occasionally escapes to Los Angeles for work and play. Self taught and self motivated, she believes that following your heart and passions, no matter how frightening is always the right way to go.
